This Tear Belongs To You

by The Other Half Of Will   Apr 16, 2007

You were part of my life for so long
Without you everything feels so wrong
As I sit by the fire in this cold weather
I watch the couples that are close together
They all look so happy holding each other tight
While looking up into this starry night
Your face comes to mind and I am weak
I stare into the fire as a tear rolls down my cheek
I wipe it away as quickly as I can, but its too late
My friend glances over & doesnt hesitate
She jumps to my side to comfort me
But in her head she knows that you are the one I need
All I want is for you to be here
And with that said down comes another tear
