For what seemed to be forever

by Marie   Apr 16, 2007

Her eyes met with his
They lock into a loving look
They stare into each other's eyes
For what seems to be forever

He reached to grasp her hand
And her heart is what he took
She deeply wished for this bond
To forever stay unsevered

This boy she'd admired
And longed for night and day
Seemed to return her feelings
She'd never been more giddy

The girl he had watched
Had finally come his way
His heart was now ecstatic
And no longer full of self-pity

He slowly leaned in towards her
Going for a kiss
She followed him
Now with more love than ever

Their lips finally met
They're both filled with bliss
They once again hold a stare
For what seems to be forever
