Morning Seranade

by Antonia di Sogni D oro   Apr 17, 2007

A billion drops of life were falling
Down from heaven who was calling
out to us on earth below
saying"don't cry for me you know"
What light from yonder window breaks
How many subtle steps shall i take
Before I really must awake
To greet the gallant sparrow
to fire the cicadas arrow?

Light shatters the ornate glass
With out even a tough of class
now that glory shines around
what innocence can be found?
Kissed carpet, carpet kissed
Oh green wool screwed up bliss!
I can now see the doves flight
Up above towards the light.

I liked the imagery you have used in the poem, it made it even better. After the rain comes the sunshine I guess.

    Take Care :)
