Your Betrayal

by Len   Apr 18, 2007

I started to write this letter
Not knowing what to say
The crime you have committed
Has left me quite astray

You've stolen my only lover
regrete, you think you've made me mad
But mad I'd rather be, anger I'd feel
Than feeling so lonely and sad

If it were any other to take my lover away
I'd have you to complain
Vent out all my emotion
as if I was insane

And in time I'd be okay
Cause all I need is you
To share my emotions, my pain
and live life once again

You ask if I am mad at you
You ask if I'm okay
You ask if I'd forgive you
If you'll leave him right away

How can I be mad at you?
I feel no anger, no rage, just pain
15 years together
Gone because of a man

Oh, do not get me wrong
I love him like no man before him
We even talked about getting married
And having little babbies

But there were men before him
And there will be men after
But only 1 friend has been beside me
To share my pain and laughter

But you don't seem to get it
You don't seem to understand
This pain from your betrayal
Is far worse than any unfaithful man
