A New Life part 2

"I Do"

Tears fall from your eyes
this is the first time that I've ever seen you cry.
A smiled spreads across my face
as i realize we're in a different place.

We're standing together
here at the church,
me in a white beautiful dress
and you in a white tux.

Friends and family surrounded us
and we said our vows.
Then we kissed
and presented our selves to the world.

nine months pass
and i go into labor,
you hold my hand
as is scream louder.

The pain is terrible
but i know it'll be worth it.
because in the end I'll have my baby
and of course my husband.

Years pass by
as i watch my five children grow
and with very day
i love my husband more and more.

I'm old now,
and my seven kids are taking care of me,
my husband is dead now
but his memory will always live inside me.

"Today is my last day"
i said to myself as i laid down for a nap.
I've lived a good life
and done all that i can.

It's time for me to pass on
and rejoin my husband.
My life drains from inside me
and i see myself in heaven.
