My Bittersweet Love

I know we are literally miles apart
But these days it feels like that in my heart
With you I always we shared our feelings together
Has it gone away or have I just gone insane?

So maybe it's just been a few days
I look back at the times I didn't know what to say
I wish I could've told you all I felt
I could do that now but we're separated again

It's so hard being apart from one another
But I know that God meant to put us this way
Love is so sweet but like dark chocolate-
Maybe it needs some bitterness to make it perfect

So I wait here now for you to answer me
I don't pray God for patience but I ask Him to be with me
