Blessing

by Vyntrrose   Apr 19, 2007

May it be an evening star shines bright o'er your home
may it be a mourning dove sing soft o'er your bed
hark, the angels who sing so sweetly
o'er the moon, and o'er the sun
may it be a blossoming bud unfurls neath your eye
may it be a blessed branch grows tall neath your care
oh, the mountains that rise so swiftly
behold the dawn, the glory of the morn
may it be that shadows cease, and part for light
may it be that flames are kind and guide you through the dark
look, the moon with casting beams of
holy light, through the dark of night
may it be that all is bright through life and through love
may it be that dark is kind and calmly takes away
oh, the mists that guide the spectral
away from here, to the promised land

*(if this seems familiar somehow, i heard this song, i don't remember what it was called, and afterwards i just wrote this, so it might have some of the same phrases or rhythmic patters. i hope you don't mind...)*
