There is Hope

I look around
And see so much crime
And so much hate in people
But I have hope
For this place

People are being killed
For who knows what reasons
Kids are being beat
Because they are just there
And nothing is being done

Lives are being lost
Those which were the lives of young mean and women
Who risk it all
To fight for their county
Because many wont

People are living on the streets
Because they cant get jobs
So they have no money
To provide and live on
And its hard to help them all

Our nation has so much to deal with
Putting criminals behind bars
Bringing our soldiers back
Helping the poor
But there is hope for this place.
