Invisible Friend

by Aislinn   Apr 20, 2007

A voice reached my ears
Soft as cotton
Clear as diamond

Sometimes warm
Sometimes cold

When it comes
Waves are made
Sand is moved

Sometimes warm
Sometimes cold

The world is rearranged
By the invisible voice
That whispers or roars to me

Sometimes warm
Sometimes cold

Where does the voice
Come from or end?
It will never stop

Sometimes warm
Sometimes cold

My farthest companion
My closest friend
Here, yet far away

Sometimes warm
Sometimes cold

Always going,
Gusting blowing
Cool relief in the summer

The wind that blows
