Saying Goodbye

People ask me how I feel
I normally dont reply
Until my heart can heal
And there are no more tears to cry

I was forced to say goodbye
And it hurts deep in my heart
With you I wish I would have died
Then we wouldnt have to be a part

With problems you were there
To keep me out of trouble
I felt like you were the only one who cared
You were there one the double

They took you from me
You were shot
The bullet went to deep
We al no you fought

40 min. they left you there
On the floor you couldnt breath
The cops didnt care
Its a f**ked up society

If God is so great
And wonderful they say
Then why do I feel hate
Toward the lord today?

God says to believe
In my heart I try
But what would you think
He couldnt even save your life

The hardest part in my life
Is SAYING GOODBYE to you
I remember looking into your eyes
I wish I could one more time

I look at pictures of you
Thats all thats left to see
I wonder if you miss me to
Soon reunited we will be

Just wait were you are
In the sky, in the stars
Your not that far
Your right here in my heart

    Hey thanks for the comment!!ur poems are great!im sorry about ur brother!i have a lil brother and it would devestate me if anyhting ever happend to him,he is going through rough times in his life is also talking of sucide its realy scary hes only 16!the guy that i new was an ex boy friend we werent together at the time,i woulnt have coped if we were,but he was an awsome guy and he could never see it in himself he was sucidle for the 5 years i new him and funny enough i should have expected it to happen but i was so shocked!sorry about this now im rambling on lol sorry ive had a couple of drinks!if you ever need to talk about ur loss,if you dont have anyone or watever reason feel free to email me ahy!!!im a good listener : )
