Here I find myself again
My pen to this paper
And you're wondering...
What is this all about?

Well, it's the story of a girl
A Cliche, one you've heard before
So Familiar
No, it's nothing new

And you could play it line for line
A girl in love, but too afraid to tell
Comforted by the security of knowing
Unable, unwilling to complicate

Scared of the rejection
Cause her prince may have found his love
And she's no princess
She's not even close

Still those feelings she can't deny
Though they're easy to hide
He couldn't know
And he never will
