The Truth Behind Witches

Witch, that's what I am.
A name symbolizing an evil, ugly person.
One who practices black magic.
One who worships the devil
drinks blood
cuts themselves
has green shin
and is a freak.
One who dresses in a black dress
black shoes
a pointed black hat
and owns a crow and black cat.
One who makes potions in a cauldron
flys on a broomstick
sold there soul to the devil
and loves to torture people.
While sucking out there souls.
How I long to escape this wrenched sterotype
and simply move on with my life.
But alas I cannot for I am a demon,
or what you call a "witch."
We are not those fairy tale witches where she is shoved in a stove
or melted by water.
And is killed by a knight in shining armor.
It's overrated.
But we are rather people caught inbetween good and evil
and are killed off from fear
simply because were diffrent.
But forgeet it, no matter how many times I say it to you
you will never understand.
Just save us both the trouble
and kill me, I'm not worth the time.

    Great poem! I have an interest in magc and witches! I get judged because I dress in black and am crazy but I don't care because I am me and they can just shove it! Great Job on the Poem! 5/5!

    That was an awesome poem seeing as you're totally right about stereotypes.i get judged alot becuase i write about death and cutting and all that stuff when i'm really a pretty happy person on the outside,i just like to write about things that other people have to deal with so they know that someone doesn't have to go through exactly what they are to understand them..i love to write and you're also very good!you're poems are deep and mean something you stand by what you say and you're right about what you write you're a talented writer,keep writing i'll add you as a friend and i'll see all your other poems
