The Way I See It.

by Katrine   Apr 22, 2007

The way I see it
We are waiting for freedom
Living to die.
So why waste time?
Your cocoa eyes stare through
Into murky soul
Creating this spark
Skinny and malnourished
It glimmers like a beacon
in the grey
If any person should be claimed by love
It should be me
Or you.
Laying on each other in the sun
Smiling
Swimming naked in the pond at night.
Stealth.
Love crept up on me like a panther
Hiding itself in your scent
Chestnut hair
and the dark colour of your skin.
But now the beast is upon me
and tell you true
I don't believe I can escape it's claws.
So where do we go now.
Where do we stand?
If I can find my feet to stand.
You make me feel alive
The squirm in your grin
The endless eyes
that make me surrender.
I lean close and whisper,
nothings that mean so much
into your ear.
But I grow weary
Night calls
So do dreams
Of your kiss.
