Depression flows within me
My thoughts are warped and twisted
Everything I once avoided
Is not easily resisted

Blades of metal
Shinning glass
All these objects
In my path

Sin to the left
God to the right
But which way
Will I choose tonight

I look to myself
I see all I hate
I don't see the good things
At any rate

I see failure
I see mistake
I see a point
That's ready to break

Some people feel nothing
They speak just to hurt
But one day they will
Be the ones in the dirt

Some people don't care
How they make others feel
But one day the pain
Will become real

They'll know the depression
That is in my heart
They'll know how it feels
To be ripped apart

They'll know what I think
They'll think what I know
They'll be the next ones
Who are put on the show

With all the fake smiles
They'll be like me
Always acting
So no one can see.
