Confused Beyond Measure

by Zach Buenger   Apr 23, 2007

There comes a time in life when everything seems petty,
In my head she is the only thing that can matter
And just thinking about her makes my hands sweaty,
Without her my heart begins to shatter

My thoughts become a blur,
Im scared she might be unsure
I try to make her understand but my words slur,
All my thoughts become obscure

She looks me in the eye
And with a few words she makes my heart shatter

Without her my life has no meaning
I have sacrificed everything to make this succeed,
On the outside I concede
But on the inside I am screaming,

I realize everything in my life is meant to fail
And it is not worth the pain and suffering,
I just wanted once to prevail

But some things in life are not meant to be
So it is with this final thought
That I set my soul free,
No longer will it be eternally distraught
