Suffer

by Daniel DeWig   Apr 23, 2007

Shiver
Rejoice on Icy Nights
Warmth Comes to the Lost
On Wings
Tattered and Torn

Borne to Pain, as it has remained
Alive inside But Barely Breathing

Join in Suffering,
The Gods Have Laughed
And thrown Their Spit in all
Directions

This is Pain and Life

Gorging, Sullen faces Eat the food
That Goodness brings
And Suffer
As the Mighty Kneed their Claws
Into the Fabric of Time and Space

We eat the Left-overs
