Exceptional write. Yur descriptive words made me feel like I was a the beach for some reason. Anyway, I can't see a way for this to be improved. It is good just the way it is

This poem was nicely written, The imagery was fantastic made me picture the beach in my mind which was great. I can't see anything wrong with this poem but i say good on you for getting out of your comfort zone and writing a nature poem of this standard. I liked this well done~mel

That was quite a nice and delicate piece. I'm in the mood for nature poems recently.
I liked the repetition of "Peaceful blue
A gentle breeze..." It worked nicely.
I do think the repetition of "places the blanket over me" and "a blanket of..." is repeated a little to much in such a short space at the end of the poem.
Overall, you really did paint some beautiful imagery in this. One part I wasn't sure about though was "A child screams for joy;
As sand enters her eye." I'm sorry but if sand went in my eye I'd be screaming in pain and frustration, not joy!!
A lovely poem though, thanks for sharing.
