The Light

The light that guides us is so bright,
never to be seen by those in the night
Impossible you say?
Oh how wrong you are
The light is seen by those who want to see it.
It doesn't seek or cloak itself from anyone or anything,
but waits to be found by those who try.
We ask God why,
and he asks us the same in return.
We spend every passing hour worrying about ourselves,
Shouldn't we be spending our time helping each other find the light instead?
