I used to believe
It wouldn't happen to me.
How stupid I was
How dumb to believe.

I never thought
I could cry this much.
That I would ever possibly
Have to yearn your touch.

Back in those days
In our time together
I used to believe
That we'd last forever.

But I spoke too soon,
I should have known
That one day you'd walk out
And leave me alone.

I used to believe
But what for?
I don't do any good
At least not anymore.
