Dig My Grave

by The Red Brumby   Apr 26, 2007

Dig my grave

One-day when I went into town,

and the rain kept pouring down.

And of all people who I see,

My boy and he was playing me.

I ran home as fast I could,

Never would have thought he would.

On my door my dad came banging,

From a rope he saw me hanging.

For all things I had no hope,

With a knife dad cut the rope.

A piece of white it caught his eye,

It was my suicide note I wouldn't lie.

And my note aloud he read,

At my funeral what he said.

Dig my grave and dig it deep,

Bury me from head to feet.

I died with faith in God above,

Remember this I died for love.

A/N:
If you cant tell I used the last verse from another poem that i had read elsewhere and i wrote the other verses myself....
