I Wait by My Window

by Taylor   Apr 27, 2007

Hours, to minutes, to moments...
The sun rises; the sun retires,
but I am still waiting.

The trees don a new fashion,
wearing wealth; wearing nothing...
Cleaning out their closets.

Full, to new, to smirking moons...
She swells, contracts, and then she sleeps,
but I still wait for you.

Waiting on a cloud.
Patient like the rain.

I still wait for you; there's nothing more I can do.

  • I agree with Laycie. A few minor things you could change to make it better, but overall I enjoyed it. Thanks for the comment on mine.=)
