About To End

Her porcelein skin
Turned red
Her trusting heart
Is dead
Her beautiful smile
Disappeared
Her lasting faith
To many tears
Her soothing voice
Went quiet
Her perfect life
An endless plight
Just for once
She wants to get it right
But she knows she won't
Her shining eyes
Have grown dim
Her fight for life
About to end
She'll never have to
Ever fight this life again
