Why did you have to go?

by Hannah   Apr 29, 2007

I see the way you look at me,
It wasn't only me who saw the look,
On your face,
It was a big disgrace.
You mumble words that mean nothing,
The sorrow within my soul is enough,
To turn into something,
I call out to you,
To tell you we're through

That was the last time I saw you,
Or even heard from you.
I wish I know,
What drew us away.
We were meant for each other,
But now we're through.
It was like a part of you died.
Oh how I cried,
When I missed you the most.
When was the last time I kissed you?
Now we're through.

I know the trouble you went through,
To get to my side,
To confort me when I needed you most,
I give you the toast,
I heard you call out my name.
When was the last time you joined in the fun and games.
It was almost two long years ago.
A lot has happened I want you to know.
Why did you have to go?
