I feel his spirit beckoning me from the seashore
From the deep sea floor into the luminous fog,
my silhouette appears before him,
my king a superb emperor of the land;
The look in my eyes overpowering him
Placing his heart in my hands
It was time and chance not taking a moment
for a second glance
Whispering my desires in his ear,
I've waiting so long to hold you near
Looking into his brown eyes stirring feelings deep inside
Pulling gracefully at his heart strings.
Speaking sincere words of love showing human emotions
In my heart I'll never let you go; loving you love is all I know.
Never asking is this love can this be true
I fell in love the moment I met you
The moon reminds me of my loneliness when we're apart;
For we both know each others hearts.
Late at night I feel his spirit asking me to leave the sea
Telling me he's longing to be with me
Yet he knows I'm a mythical creature from the sea
A mere fantasy a lover that can never be
Not wanting the night to leave the sky
Holding him close wiping the tears from his eyes
Not wanting to be alone feeling the love we both have known
He saw it coming and knew it had to end
Never knowing quite how to say goodbye
