Pain

by Amnah   May 1, 2007

Such a woe as I possess
Nothing to compare it, can be
Wherever I turn, whatever I do
I bring my woe upon it
No mirror can stand my reflection
It breaks at my very sight
I feel the pain as it breaks
I cry out with all my might
My cries reach the sky
But are turned back to ground
They have no where to go
No one hears their sound
The pain I feel in my heart
Circulates like blood in my body
I try to rid myself of it
But I’m trapped in the dungeons of my body
I’m a physical representation
Pain in material form
And whatever I do, I feel
The pain I’m running away from
