Today I painted a sign
And posted in the gym.
It says "look at me now"
And only few will understand.
The few are the people who killed my esteem
The people who ran over me for so long
My friends will understand, they saw my pain.
But Look at me now,
I'm well! I'm not dead!
I'm not pregnant, I'm doing fine!
Unlike you victims of karmic retribution!
You understand this sign
When you pass it
and you better remember
That I, The geek in the back,
has overcame your insecurities.
