Gone

by hiddenimage   May 3, 2007

The whispers in the wind call out,
Over the mountain tops
and through the ledges,
Freezing the gentle mists of rain into hard, Blistering snow,
As ice consumes the murky water in the depths far below.

Listen to the howls of the hungry wolves
full of anger,
Trampling the ground with a sign of great danger,
Leaving the flowers frozen in time
Only to droop their pedals
Falling...
One
by
one.

The trees cry their sap
So bitter and sticky
The birds shelter their babies,
and soon forget their tittering songs,
The world suddenly becomes so empty
And i'm just now
Realizing
Your truely gone...
