We're the only ones
you and me in this lonely circle
i can't see you
and you can't know me
and we are the only ones

i love you because you are here
everything within this circle
is us, a private macrocosm
within our microcosm
and we are the only ones

i don't understand you
you'll never get me
you and i and infinity
all imponderable mystery
and we are the only ones

a blanket of silence
a numb senseless dream
a smile a tear a laugh a sob
drowning and thriving in a sea of apathy
but we aren't the only ones

(A/N: I'm not exactly sure what this one means *laugh*. It just kind of bled out of my pen.)
