Pretty Rose,
flower elite,
your smell to me
is oh-so sweet.

Pretty Rose,
I'd like to go near
but to touch
would cause such fear

Pretty Rose
you're in her bouquet,
swept up in her basket,
and carried away.

Pretty Rose,
you bud and grow,
in my eyes
you are aglow

Pretty Rose
why must you hide?
leave and wilt
why must I cry?

Pretty Rose
I'm hurt by your thorns
my heart is ripped
my love is torn
