The world is dying

Can you prove to me that everything is the way it should?
Can you show me that, so everybody is happy, you did what you could?
Can you tell me the words to will make me smile?
Can you stay with me for a while?

If you can do all those things
Shouldn't you replace all the kings?
If you want, I'll tell you you are amazing
But don't be surprised if, while I say it, I'm laughing

Can you bring close those who are far?
Can you stop the war?
Can you help people forget
What they will never get?

If you can all that
Shouldn't you do it
And quick
Because the world is dying
And we are all sick of fighting.
