Friday, June 1st is your graduation day/
And at times I just pray it would be farther away/
I wont be able to see your beautiful smiling face/
Because all i'll see is pretty flowers on your kitchen table in a vase/
Because on that day, you wont be one of the many to walk across that stage/
And in your book of life, will be missing that page/
Graduation is a day teens always look very forward to/
But for some, that is the total opposite of what they do/
Because they know that tears will pour like a big waterfall/
And that many of us will just sit down and ball/
I know that to you, this was gonna be a highlight of your life/
But now because you had to go home, it's filled with worry and strife/
I know that you will deffinately be watching down from above/
