2 years together 1 year apart has it been that long?
conversations start to come so much to catch up on
your friend told me what i thought was a lie
i ask you as i start to cry

a girl you loved with all your heart
not me...one who tore it apart
then i think how close i came
to me and you never being the same

i think as my body starts to torsion
what if she never had the abortion
what if she didn't leave you in the dust
how close it was to not being an "us"

what if she never left you without a bye
and she didn't leave you alone to cry
never calling without a care
out of your life she disappeared

How close i came to never kissing you again
to me and you coming to a sudden end
now I'm glad i didn't lose you
and together we can make it through

holding your hand ill never let go
i love you more than you could ever know
I'm glad now were back together
