Lost Words

by Linda Harris   May 7, 2007

I'm sitting here with pen in my hand
Trying to think what to write
But I'm at a loss for words
Cause I'm speechless at the thought of you
I'm trying to push you out of my mind
So I can write you a love poem
My heart rate quickens when saying your name
A thin ripple of excitment courses through me
Cause I'll be seeing you today
And I need to start writing a poem
So you would know how I feel
And my love for you is beyond measure
But I'm speechless at the thought of you
And I'm at a loss for words
I might as well forget writing
And tell you that in person

    Beautiful poem
it is true that sometimes our feelings are strong and deep that they can't be described using words.
    loved it!
