Spring Time

The earth seems awaken
at this wonderful time of year.
When weather begins to change,
and new life is all around us.

The grass starts to grow
becoming green and lush.
The trees begin to bud
their branches leaden with color.

The wild life comes out of hiding
and little babies are welcomed
in to a bright new lush world.
Where they can grow up strong.

Spring is the beginning of life.
A time when the world wakes
and everything is beautiful,
once again and full of color.

    THat is a really good poem for nature.. soooo descriptive and yet soo powerful.. you are a good poet and I hope you never forget that.. sooo powerfull and ... it really hard to change anything becasue its perfect! good job!

    It was calming and sweet to read but you used the word LUSH two different times to descirbe different things, so you might want to watch out for that

    Besides the repeat of "lush" [not a big deal] this was very good. I'm not a fan on non-rhyming, but since it seems you don't rhyme, I won't further comment on that, but the flow was pretty good this time.
    So, nicely done and very interesting. =]

    Well written, even though i am not a fan of nature poems. the word choice is beautiful, and the emtions are peaceful. Great read, and an even better write. 5/5
