Autumn's Parlous Nevermore

by Kalgalath   May 7, 2007

This is all over,
Every little bit
This will not be a good turnover,
Believe me, something I already get

You want me to hate you,
Nevermore talk to you again
I think it a load of hullabaloo,
This in turn doesn't cause me any pain

This could be parlous,
Because of the ending
Which is going to be a big mess,
Useless time we are spending

Although I'm done,
I really don't care
It seems you've won,
Something that's not really fair

You have reached your autumnn
Just immature
Like a child I don't believe you can endure,
Anything that's beyond mild

Like the evils we comprise,
You just turn and run away
Something that is not especially wise,
And you do it everyday

You never want to figure things out,
Just complicate and run
You get into a bout,
Only to have fun

I think I'm more than you bargained for,
So you give me a few tests
I tried to even the score,
Just so you know, I never gave my best

Alas! I was ready this time,
Maybe you knew
So I'll dedicate this rhyme,
Just so you might get a clue

The poem was well done. I liked your used of words and your title for it is very eye catching. although "hullabaloo" i thought was rather silly and laughed.. haha. but i really enjoyed the rest. good job.
