What I Used To Know

Slowly closing the door
To what I used to know
Leaving those days behind
It's time for you to go

My days are getting longer
My heart is getting cold
To everything you said to me
I'm done being controlled

Simple questions left unanswered
With every step you take
I'm getting more impatient
I'm feeling my heart break

I just got so used to
Having you around
But finally I realized
That I was being drowned

By all your little lies
You left for me to see
Your true colors came out
It was all downhill for me

So leave me to my pain
Just take your stuff and go
I'm now closing the door
To what I used to know
