My Secret Best Friend...

My Secret Best Friend

You hide among the buildings,
You fly with the air,
You blend with the shadows,
You carry your wishes in your heart,
You don't lend, you don't borrow,
You don't talk to anyone, or look at anyone,
But I know who you are, my friend.

I remember when I first met you,
In the rising light of day,
You blend in the shadows,
But I saw you anyway.
Your crazy hair went flying,
As you scattered from tree to tree,
And then stood bold as brass
You followed unknowingly and silently behind me.

You hide among the among
You fly with the air,
You blend with the shadows,
You carry your wishes in your heart,
You don't lend, you don't borrow,
You don't talk to anyone, or look at anyone,
But I know who you are, my friend.

You were just heart broken
At that time, so was I,
You wanted to get to know me,
I don't understand how or why.
But we came to a secret but silent agreement,
And thats where it would begin and end,
For you and I, we now both know,
You are my secret best friend.

You hide among the buildings,
You fly with the air
You blend with the shadows,
You carry your wishes in your heart,
You don't lend, you don't borrow,
You don't talk to anyone, or look at anyone,
But I know who you are...my friend.
