Destroy my being
Impair my worth

My wounded heart weeps
Till the early morning

Hinder my every breath
Mute my every spoken word

Blind my every glance
With your bedroom eyes

Shatter my will
With your repeated refutation

Souls have been shattered
Hearts have been scattered

Never to attain the one entity
That they can never control
