Fear this is a powerful emotion
(running deeper than any ocean)
Love it makes the world go round
(It lifts you up when you are down)
Anger will destroy your heart
(Your entire world will fall apart)
Sorrow fills your eyes with tears
(Reminders of the years)
Hate will consume your soul
(soon being the only thing you know)

I see your fist, heading toward my face
I know that I am alone and out of place

I realize I am living, tormented by fear
There is no reason I should be here

I see the way you look at me
My soul longing to be free

As I look to the stars above

You try to stop me on my way out the door
"What don't you want me anymore"

I could feel it in your voice, the anger
I am tired of always being in danger

I look in my rear view, tears flowing like rain
Why must I always end in this eternal pain

My heart is so, sad and full of sorrow
I hope things will be better tomorrow

I look back at that moment in time
Trying to erase you from my mind
