I Dream Of a Place

I dream of a day
where I can run away
to a land of dreams to take my sorrows
to a land where the ocean breeze is always tomorrow
to escape the city and live in a quiet place
where I can hold you in my arms and see your face
A place where fantasy can truly become real
to place where the truth is told and never sealed
where the sounds of lullaby's fill my ears
to a place where I can escape my fears
where the scent of roses fills the air
a place to start memories for you and I to share
Where the nighttime moon always shines bright
a place where I can love you for the rest of my life

    Cathy...wait wait...let me pick my mouth up off the floor before I leave this comment...lol...this was amazing!!! My mouth really did drop!!.....Don't we all want to be in a place like this?!! Half the people I know say its a waste of time to dream of this, but we all can be in that peaceful place with the one we love if we keep trying our hardest.....this was great...Loved it!
