Another End

by Matt Boxx   May 8, 2007

Sir, have you ever seen me here,
As passing through the streets?
My words have never caught your ear,
My pleas never a soul does meet.

Sir have you seen me yet?
It grows quite cold, my friend,
The sun has all too sudden set
Another day, has another end.

As dawn approach the winter town,
Busy men run through crowded lanes.
But from the sides, not a sound.
A recent end has ended his pains.
