On Winter's Hill

by Matt Boxx   May 8, 2007

A cold and wintry day to be,
I drift to sleep again
And off I Dream of days to come,
Where I shall meet my sin

I see the flame from Purgator
Where I these screams do hear.
Do I dare to pass these dark gates?
And face my deepest fear?

As I these castle walls approach
Feel I a winter wind
And from this dream do I awake.
To find the Devil's Kin

To him I asked for what he came
Eye meet eye stood we still
To me he spoke a single phrase,
"Die upon Winter Hill."

For when I asked for what he meant
To me again he spoke,
"For the sin you may have commit,
Upon your words you choke."

So lie I there in winter hell
Upon the demon eye.
Have I but only one request,
The Devil see me cry.
