Words I wish to one day speak

If words offer the means to meaning,
and the enunciation of truth.
Then the truth is I love you more than words,
and I am a passionate student of poetry.
Only for the means to express more glibly
my adoration of you.

For you are never far from my wistful mind,
By my own volition, I feel it is time,
To put forth a votive of the heart,
To amend myself at your side,
And forever do my part.
For it is all I've ever longed to do.
To dedicate, in life, the love I have for you.
