Following Him

by oddi tea   May 9, 2007

What do you do,
When you have no where to go.
Your out on the street,
With no home to show.

Where do you find yourself,
With the streets all around.
Your poverty stricken life,
Is on its way down.

This is when you pray,
So fast and hard.
Ask for forgiveness,
To your lifes last shard.

You start asking yourself,
Where you would stand.
If Jesus came back,
On the earths torn land.

Would I rejoice,
And sing with joy?
Or will I shun,
This heavenly boy.

Prostrate I will fall,
At his merciful feet.
Calling his name,
Like a hungry sheep.

I decide to follow him,
With the whole of my heart.
Do what he advises,
When I wake with a start.

I was lying in bed,
With my mind on His wrath.
I decide to take,
His comforting path.

Wow it is so nice to see that you take pride in your religion. This is not seen very often in these times. The rhyme and flow were perfect. 5/5
