Mourners Shall Arrive in Horse-Drawn Buggies to the Burial

Mourners Shall Arrive in Horse-Drawn Buggies to the Burial

teach your young ones, teacher
before they are handed down to the preacher

there is a coward among your presence
demanding action against your innocence
sick and deranged at point blank range
taking such an unfair exchange

school teacher crying cease
little children on their knees
blindfolded for easy prey
hands folded as if to pray

they were praying for you as you betrayed them
they were praying for you as you slay ed them
you sick bastard, ridding yourself of your existence

all that is left are questions left unanswered
while fathers are digging graves
and mothers crying Jesus saves.
