Entertwined Souls

by HollywoodSmile   May 12, 2007

Kiss me
will you not?
Beneath the ear piercing silence
this pounding through my mind
it is the same polyrythmic beat
that binds our hearts as one
our souls tortured by our forbade love

kiss me
will you not?
you are my reason to rise in the morning
my moon, sun, water, air, and star
i rely on you to talk me out of death
without you i am unwell

kiss me
will you not?
beneath this deadly silence
i am kept alive by this familiar sound
to it my soul is bound
this world lives in oblivion
and your presence perfects it all
this polyrytmic beat
be a mixture of your heart and mine
our souls live on forever
our souls be entertwined
