No One Needs To Know

No one needs to know,
The hurt I feel inside,
The pain that eats my strength away,
The waves that won't subside.

My bitter battle fought,
I'm still trying to recover,
And I hide it all away,
In hopes they wont discover.

The world sees pain and thinks of weak,
But my strength is all I own,
It shall never be surrendered,
No blood comes from a stone.

No one needs to know I dream,
And no one needs to speak,
To make me love this life again,
To give me what I seek.

    This was great. I believe my favorite lines were these......

    So true these lines, our strength is all we really own to never be surrendered. Such a wonderful write.

    This was a good poem...i feel the exact same way. I love the stone line...agreed...hard to get blood from something that is already dead.
