Star light, star bright
can you see me cry tonight?
I wish I may, I wish I might
that he feels the same way I do tonight

Star light, star bright
what he did to me wasn't right
He took my heart and tore it apart
and now this is what I wish tonight

Star light, star bright
first star I saw tonight
I wish I may, with eyes closed tight
that he pays for what he did tonight
