No longer a small voice

by Zee   May 14, 2007

I know I grew up in a small town.
Where education was the last priority
Where work was essential
Drones to society's prison
Everyone else thought we could never live up to anything
They say my voice is to small to change anything
But I won't let society force me to be
What you all say there must come from me
I'm my own person
With my own path
My voice will be heard someday.
I know it's not a easy a road ahead.
But I'm prepared to fight for my right
To speak out among the drones you all hypnotized to be
And in the end I'll finally be free to be me
This small town won't keep me changed in
I won't be like the starving animal that you feed me to be
I'll make my voice be heard
I'll change my world
I'll be heard
