The Beginning of the End

by Broken Dreams   May 16, 2007

One tear, one drop
Water and blood mix
Watching life seep forth
Life ebbing away
Making life flow again
It is the beginning of the end
The sun sets, the moon rises
Darkness replaces light
One light shines in a dark house
Tile floors stained red
A broken soul crouched within the mess
Crying tears, dripping blood
Begging for the beginning of the end
Time passes, the moon fades
A shape lays in a drying pool
The crimson surrounds it
A door creaks, a scream is heard
This is the beginning of the end
A frantic call, a harried mother
Medics arrive to save a life
Blood flows, lungs breathe
But life is gone replaced by being alive
And the broken beg for the beginning of the end
Night returns but clouds block the sky
A broken soul alone again cries
And makes sure this time
It will be the beginning of the end
No one hears the crying or sees the tears
No one knows of the blood shed
For the many pains
Which led to the beginning of the end
